chip, cold air intake and little mods here and
there.

I had a 1999 GTI VR6 that I cherished like
nothing! It was my baby and I had a hard time
letting it go. But like everything, all good
things must come to an end. Finally, Saturday
February 7th I got "THE" call from my local VW
dealership letting me know the R32 had come
in. They were fresh off the truck, not even
ran through inspection by the dealer. That's
when I saw it, my jaw just dropped to the
ground! And I had to have that car. That was
then, this is now!
This car is worth, in my opinion the 30000$
price tag, without a doubt in my mind.
The interior is extremely well made, nothing
looks out of place or flimsy like other cars.
The seats are a snug fit and keep you in place
in tight corners. A little less space than my
'99 GTI VR6 but I can manage!
The first time I started the car I almost wet
myself, the engine purrrs like a cat in heat.
Rev it up a little and it roars!
The 18" OZ racing wheels made specially for
the R32 are awesome, Goodyear F1 tires
compliment everything. The rotors on this baby
are HUGE. Nice blue calipers to compliment the
paint job. The exhaust is simply amazing, as I
was saying earlier, the engine purrrs when I
start it, well you should hear it on the 3rd
and 4th gear at 3750 RPM, damn I never get
tired of the roaring thunder!
I've only had the car for 2 days now, and
frankly even though it's costing me 30000$, I
would never look back at the transaction. This
car is simply amazing and VW has done an
excellent job integrating it to the American
market. I'll keep you posted on how the
performance is after my first 1500 miles when
I decide to really open it. |
