Not much.
This car started as a standard spec 1991 GTI
16V, white in color and with 155K miles when I
bought it. It had ABT springs, Boge shocks &
struts, an AMS chip, 14" 8V teardrop wheels
and a Techtonics 55mm cat. I paid $3800 for it
in "not so wonderful" condition but it
hadn't
been wrecked and had no major structural flaws
or defects so it was a great starting point. I
swapped the wheels for a set of 15" Corrado
G60 wheels, threw on a Techtonics Stainless
cat-back exhaust w/ Borla Muffler tossed in a
K&N filter, put on a single 7" grill w/ new H4
headlights, and drove it around like that
until I decided to go all out...
