The future plan was to put V6 24 valve in
the car and turbo it, but now the future
plan is to sell the car.
The car was bought in December 1997. The car
was Player Of The Month back in February
2002 at Pocket Rocket :) The whole wide body
kit is VW Factory wide body kit. Two concept
cars were made back in 1993. In May 2002 I
bought the most of the kit. Only thing that
was missing was the hood, dash, hatch, and
spoiler. The kit came with 2 front fenders,
front and back bumpers, side skirts, rear
panels. The whole thing was about less then
40lbs total. Paid about 10k USD for the kit,
also another 10k USD just to install it on
the car, and another 5k to 7k USD just for
small parts that needed to finish the car
off. Reason for selling. Bought a 2003 Mini
cooper S and fell in love with it and the
Golf is just sitting at the FK showroom so I
might as well sell the car :) |
