I’m the 3rd owner, and to the best we can
determine this car has only seen 6 weeks of
Winter exposure in its entire life!
It has just over 144000 kms on the odometer
and the engine was rebuilt by the previous
owner at about 124000 kms.
On VWVortex’s MK III forum I am know as
“Grandpa Vortex” - at almost 71 years of age
it is believe that I am the oldest member of
this forum.
I get a real kick out of gassing the car up
and having people ask me if I’ve got my
son’s car. The looks on their face when I
say “No this car is mine” is really
priceless. |
