STEP 1. |
STEP 2. |

First Your going to have
to remove your front bumper cover. Use the
following DIY below as a guide to removing your
front bumper.
REMOVE FRONT
BUMPER GUIDE |

The horns are located on
the lower left in front of the wheel well.
Now would be a good time to disconnect your
battery too!

OEM SETUP. |
HELLA VS. OEM. |
 |

Stock horns made in
France.

Hella horns made in
Germany.

Side by side. |
|
STEP 3. |
STEP 4. |

The terminals on the new
horns don't line up with the car's plug.

So rather than cut
into the car I just decided to make adapter
wires. See above. |

Connect the horns with the newly made adapters. |
|
STEP 5. |
STEP 6. |

To mount the horns the
brackets also had to be modified. For the lower
horn I bent the bracket that came with it so
that the horn faced forward. |

For the upper horn I
removed the bracket that was already in the car
bent it 90 degrees and than bolted in the horn
with the Hella bracket. |
|
STEP 7. |
YOU'RE DONE! |

Make sure you test the
horns before putting the bumper cover back on!
If all is in working order, reinstall the
bumper. |

These horns are a lot
louder than the stock ones, the video is just to
give you an idea of the tone rather than volume.
