Take the cover off the
rear wiper, pull it towards you. Don't try to
remove it, you might crack it. Remove the nut with
the 13mm socket.
STEP 2.
STEP 3.
Open your hatch, and with
the Phillips head, remove the screw in each of
the grab handles. They're small, so be careful
not to lose them.
CAREFULLY begin to pry the cover off
the hatch. CAREFUL, don't force anything, just
take your time, feel around and use your
brain... it will come off.
STEP 4.
STEP 5.
Once the cover is off,
you should see the motor staring you in the
face... or looking down on you if you are short.
With the 10mm socket, remove the three nuts
holding the motor on.
STEP 6.
STEP 7.
The electrical connection
and washer fluid connection both come off
easily.
Tuck them behind this part of the hatch.
If you can find something to plug the fluid hose
with do it now (if you cant find a plug,
DON'T PUSH YOUR WIPER STALK FORWARD ANYMORE
that activates the rear wiper fluid).
STEP 8.
STEP 9.
Close your hatch, you
should see the rubber grommet. Take it
out, and put it back on the motor. (so you don't
lose it).
Clean the glass really
good.
STEP 10.
STEP 11.
Put some silicone on the
cap, where it will come into contact with the
glass... don't be shy, lube it up good.
Put the cap in the hole.
Press it in firmly, and viola. Wait a few hours
for the silicone to dry. It's a lot easier to
clean up when its cured.
