FOREWORD. STEP 1.
Before reading, please note that I am not responsible for any damage done to your vehicle due to the DIY installation. This is for your reference only.

This DIY is for vehicles with a Boost Gauge installed and Stock DV Plugged with block off. before continuing I also recommend reading the "Noise Pipe" Delete DIY and maybe completing it.

**WARNING** Installing this kit may cause hesitation and/or stalling of the engine which may lead to engine damage. If not properly installed, loss of boost pressure may occur.

VW TECH BY: Ryman Tolentino

Locate your "noise pipe".

Remove the 90 degree fitting connecting from the throttle body to the noise pipe.

STEP 2. STEP 3.

Replace it with the new 1.5" Connection Hose.

Place both clamps on (Screw-on or Spring Clamps).

STEP 4. STEP 5.

Place your BOV w/ flange assembled into the other end of the connection hose.

If using a Screw-On Clamp (Recommended), Use a small socket wrench to tighten them.

STEP 6. STEP 7.

After you have the BOV secure in its new location, locate your Vacuum Tee near your plastic intake manifold. Remove Boost Gauge Hose from Tee.

**VERY IMPORTANT**

The hole on the tee must be at least 1/16". If your tee has a "Pin Sized" hole, you're going to need to make it bigger. You can use a drill or use a red hot safety pin to burn the hole bigger, up to you!

Cut your new 4 FT Vacuum hose in half, giving you two, 2 FT, vacuum hoses.

Use one of your 2 FT hoses and plug it into the Tee.

STEP 8. STEP 9.

Now place the other end into the bottom of the new tee (included in your HKS Kit). The other ends of the Tee go to your Boost Gauge and BOV.

Use your last Vacuum hose and insert it into one end of the new tee and the other end into your BOV.

STEP 10.

Secure all hoses with clamps or zip ties. Start up the car, check for leaks and loss of boost. If everything looks cool, drive it and enjoy.
