Vehicle should be on a level ground. Place the strut bar on the strut towers so you can measure the holes to drill. Make sure strut towers are clean, and remove sealing compound if any.

Place the strut bar on top of the towers, so you can measure where to drill. Leave a hair's gap between the strut bar and the tower. Then with a marker mark the holes.

STEP 2. STEP 3.

Center punch the 4 holes where you marked with the marker.

Start drilling holes with the a small drill bit before moving up to 3/8" Drill.

STEP 4. STEP 5.

After drilling with the 3/8" Drill use touch up paint to paint around the hole so your paint doesn't crack.  This will also prevent rust in the future.  I don't have any touch up paint that matches my car so I used nail polish which would work the same.

As you can see in the image the the nut inserts teeth face up.

STEP 6. STEP 8.

With the Nut insert tool provided place the nut insert in the hole teeth facing up.

Tighten the bolt approx. 12lbs. DO NOT allow nut insert tool to turn during tightening or removal of setting bolt. We measured 12lbs approx by having the nut insert snug tight.

STEP 9. STEP 10.

Align the bar with all the holes.

Place the all 4 bolts, and lock washers in at the same time.  Screw in to make sure all bolts are screwed in tightly, and evenly.

STEP 11. STRESS BAR INSTALLED.

Once all bolts are screwed in evenly, tighten approx. to 12lbs.
