PARTS. STEP1.
Some folks indicated that they wanted to see it installed. This is it in my Golf GLS.

Step one.  Remove two screws.

This is the original oh-shit handle held up over the new sunglass holder. It just looks like it's bigger, but they are the same size. Direct bolt in replacement.. Very slick.

STEP 2. COMPLETE.

Reverse process of step one.  Easy as that.

Here it being used as the VW engineers intended.

Here it is closed. BTW, it has a nice spring loaded mechanism, similar to the original handles. The only thing is it take a while to close, but it makes sense. You don't want it bouncing back as quickly as the grab handles. This way it gives you a chance to place your sunglasses away, or get them out.
