Some folks indicated that they wanted to see it
installed. This is it in my Golf GLS.

Step one.
Remove two screws.
This is the original oh-shit handle held up over
the new sunglass holder. It just looks like it's
bigger, but they are the same size. Direct bolt
in replacement.. Very slick. |
Reverse process of
step one. Easy as that.
Here it being used as the VW engineers intended. |
Here it is closed.
BTW, it has a nice spring loaded mechanism,
similar to the original handles. The only thing
is it take a while to close, but it makes sense.
You don't want it bouncing back as quickly as
the grab handles. This way it gives you a chance
to place your sunglasses away, or get them out. |
