| WHAT
YOU NEED. |
STEP
1. |
Screw
drivers; flat-head and Torx (star-shaped one).
* 3M
Emblem/Trim adhesive glue (or crazy-glue).
* Spray paint (I used Silver for bumpers
because it supposedly sticks better to
plastic).
* 30 - 40 minutes of your precious time. |
Behind
the steering wheel there's a plastic piece
connected to the leather. Pull on it (kinda
like upward) it will come off revealing 2
screws (w/ the hole in it star shaped...
I really don't know the name) unscrew it and
pull the cluster out...
|

2. |
RED
CLIP |
To
remove the wire harness to it, pull on a RED
clip, hard to lift off but as it lifts up and
it will lift the harness plug as you pull on
it.

3. |
STEP
4. |
When
putting it back together: blue goes with blue,
green goes with green… (there is not a way
to invert this combination).
|
Unscrew
the 2 star-shaped on the back of cluster, and
"unclip" around it (there’s about
8 clips).
|
| STEP
5. |
3
PIECES... |
Remove
the plastic cover from it (hard part of it).
Be careful not to break it… use a
screwdriver of knife to help detach it (yellow
line shows where to detach)
|
You
should end up with these 3 pieces. WARNING!
DO NOT MOVE THE NEEDLES (no you don’t
have pretend you are driving @ 160 inside your
room).
|
| STEP
6. |
STEP
7. |
Spray
that sucker!!! Two light coats will do!!! Let
it dry…
|
Use
some glue around the plastic cover…

THE
FINISHED PRODUCT |
Ahhh…
pretty huh!? Re-install it and remember:
Blue goes with blue, Green goes with green…
Make sure you CONNECT THE WIRES PROPERLY…
take your time (and patience) you have to hear
it "click" and then flip the red
“clip” back to tighten… make sure its
super-tight or your car just WON’T START!
